Tioga Point is located Just off Lake Wylie Road near the intersection where Highway 49 and Handsmill Highway intersect. Just to the North is Lake Wylie proper with restaurants, public lake access, and shopping. Just across the Buster Boyd Bridge, you will find Rivergate with many more options for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Homes in Tioga Point don’t come up for sale very often. In fact, just three homes sold in the last 12 months. They sold for an average of $605,000 and all three were interior wooded lots with mature landscaping. Homes with lake frontage command a premium and can sell for substantially more, but rarely come on the market.
The typical home in Tioga Point has 4 or 5 bedrooms, 3 or 3 ½ bathrooms, and between 2,800 and 3,500 square feet of heated living area. Most of the homes were custom built and have features like gourmet kitchens, home offices, in-ground salt water pools, and custom decks to enjoy the out-of-doors. These homes were built between 2002 and 2006 and many have been upgraded since they were built.
