Nestled between Big and Little Allison Creeks off of Hwy 274 in York, SC is the Allison Creek Peninsula comprised of a variety of homes from cabins to estates to recently developed neighborhoods. The peninsula is overseen by The Allison Creek Homeowners Association which provides a Community Watch, a Clean and Green Program and several HOA and social functions.
The community is serviced by Allison Creek Road, a long winding street that runs from one end of the peninsula to the other. Signs will direct you to the Allison Creek Public Lake Access which is located on Viesta Road. This beautiful boat ramp and day dock gives the public fishing, swimming and boating access to the creeks which feed straight into Lake Wylie. This landing is utilized by many of the homeowners living in the peninsula neighborhoods of Mariners Bluff, Mariners Watch Cove, Palm Tree Cove, and the newest subdivision, Palm Tree Cove II.
Mariners Bluff and Mariners Watch Cove are both small, custom built, upscale neighborhoods offering interior and waterfront lots, new construction and resale homes. The homes, mostly composed of brick, stone or stucco, are on large, wooded lots with rolling hills and beautiful vistas. Palm Tree Cove and the newest, Palm Tree Cove II offer a variety of lot size and builders from custom to production builders. These neighborhoods are larger in size and also offer interior and waterfront lots, mostly new construction and some resale homes. Palm Tree Cove II will have a pool, walking trails and dry boat storage for it’s homeowners. All of these neighborhoods have their own HOA’s but all are connected by a winding sidewalk down Allison Creek Road for easy access, exercise, and socializing.
Prices in these neighborhoods, along with the individual homes on the peninsula vary widely by location, neighborhood, waterfront or water view sites and other variables. Please feel free to contact us to guide you through the options in this wonderful Lake Wylie community.
