River Hills is located right off Highway 49 in the heart of Lake Wylie. The entrance is shared with YMCA Camp Thunderbird so occasionally you can see horses on your way in. As you drive in the entrance to River Hills, you are welcomed by magnolia trees. The neighborhood consists of over 800 acres with almost 1,100 homes set among mature trees and a championship golf course as part of the River Hills Country Club. There are many community events throughout the year run by the active homeowners association.
