Lake Wylie Community Profile River Point

The RiverPointe neighborhood is located just at the Charlotte side of the Buster Boyd Bridge in Mecklenburg County off of Hwy 49 in North Carolina.  With two beautifully landscaped entrances, this heavily wooded, tree lined neighborhood consists of a wide variety of stately brick and stucco homes on rolling hills with glorious views of  sparkling Lake Wylie, SC.   Strong architectural controls have created and maintained this beautiful lakeside community consisting of approximately 200 custom homes built between 1989 and 2009. Lake front, lake view and interior homes, and a limited number of lots are available. RiverPointe has it’s own ship-shape Marina, with boat slips for those homeowners living on interior lots to enjoy all the pleasures of lake activities, too.  A pool and clubhouse, two tennis courts, a playground and a gazebo for picnics or a shaded spot to sit with your favorite book are just a few of the other amenities available.  Most streets end in cul de sacs providing a safe environment for walking, biking or skating.  Hop in your boat for a quick ride across the lake to dine at the famous waterside T-Bonz Restaurant.  The height of the summer is the fantastic Fourth of July fireworks display easily enjoyed by the residents from their Marina. Single family homes are available from the high $300,000’s up to $1 Million+.  Currently, there are 4 lots ranging in price from $50,000 to $75,000,.

Conveniently located, RiverPointe is only 30 minutes from Rock Hill, Uptown Charlotte, Gastonia or Charlotte-Douglas Airport. Carowinds Amusement Park, open all summer and featuring Scarowinds in the fall, is only 15 minutes away and the YMCA‘s Camp Thunderbird is just a few miles down Hwy 49.  The Buster Boyd Landing, next to T-Bonz is just a short boat or car ride.  For the outdoor enthusiast, McDowell Nature Preserve and Copperhead Island, accessible by car or boat, are 5 minutes away.

RiverPointe has meticulous, mature landscaping, shady trees and beautiful views throughout.  Take a drive through this enchanting neighborhood to see it for yourself, then come see me for current pricing and availability.
